Firstly...

...the camera is a much-used and multiple tool for the artist:
Notepad, experimentation board, document folder, collection drawer.
But beyond that, photography becomes for me also an actual pictorial tool, mostly with the help of the computer. Photoshop alone is not art, nor is a brush. But you can produce a prodigal amount of nonsense and merriment with it - and also do some very serious work.

I use the photographic possibilities for process-like procedures, serial and multiple. Computer-typical techniques such as working with layers have long since had a direct influence on canvas/wood wall work as well. And my video works make extensive use of the creative possibilities of the computer, logically.

and then...

...there are, after all, some series of works that are photographic in the true sense of the word.
These works are in the narrower sense prints, since they can be reproduced in principle arbitrarily.
However, I attach importance to produce only small editions, maximum 10 pieces, in smaller formats up to about DIN A3.
Large formats with up to 2 meters diagonal are produced only as unique pieces.

I usually print on graphic papers such as Hahnemühle Bütten, and print in the highest quality and color fastness. Thus I achieve an actual graphic effect without protective but always reflective glass and achieve a very high color depth.
